The Cavendish School – Among the Leading Private Schools in Camden London

We foster a lively atmosphere of warm support, full of fun and laughter; one that builds the confidence to take risks, explore interests and engage with the world and with each other. We achieve this by combining exceptional pastoral care, dedicated and talented staff teaching small classes, and modern facilities in Camden Town. And we really know and care deeply about each of the girls.

We follow a broad and balanced curriculum, aligned with the National Curriculum, designed to foster academic excellence, creativity, and personal growth. It includes core subjects such as English, mathematics, and science, alongside a rich offering in the arts, music, and physical education, ensuring a well-rounded education for all students.

What is the school environment like?

The environment is warm and supportive, with a strong sense of community. We aim to create a space where girls feel confident to explore their interests and take academic risks, making Cavendish one of the best private schools in Camden.

What age group does your school cater to?

We provide education for girls aged 3 to 11, offering a nurturing environment from nursery through to Year 6. The school supports early learning in its nursery and continues through to primary education, ensuring a seamless transition and personalised care for each student.

How does your fee structure compare to other private schools in Camden?

We offer competitive fees, which include lunch, books, materials, and educational visits (excluding residential trips). Thanks to our charitable status and ownership of the campus, we can keep fees relatively low while providing excellent teaching, resources, and high staff-to-pupil ratios. Bursary support is available, and we also participate in the statutory 15 hours of free education for 3-4-year-olds.

How can I apply for a place at your private school in Cavendish London?

To apply, simply complete our registration form and pay the £180 fee. Once we receive the form and fee, we will confirm your daughter’s registration and provide an estimated timeline for intake offers. Applications are considered in the order received, with priority given to siblings. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us.
