Wraparound Care and After-School Clubs
At The Cavendish School, we understand the importance of providing flexible, reliable support for busy families. Our wraparound care and extended day provision offer pupils a safe, engaging and nurturing environment beyond the standard school day, helping girls feel supported while giving parents added flexibility and peace of mind.
After-School Care
Our after-school care programme provides a secure and welcoming space where girls can relax, socialise and enjoy a variety of supervised activities at the end of the school day. Available until 6pm Monday to Thursday and 5.30pm on Fridays, the provision is designed to support working parents while ensuring children remain happy, active and well cared for.
Girls can choose from indoor and outdoor play, creative activities, games and quiet time, while older pupils may use the opportunity to complete homework in a calm and supportive setting. Healthy snacks are provided each day, and sessions can be booked in advance or on the day for added convenience and flexibility.
After-School Clubs
Our extensive co-curricular programme is a vibrant part of life at The Cavendish School and offers girls the opportunity to explore new interests, develop talents and build confidence beyond the classroom. The wide range of after-school clubs encourages creativity, teamwork, leadership and personal growth in a fun and inspiring environment.
Clubs vary throughout the year and may include activities such as chess, STEM, coding, debating, drama, orchestra, swimming, pottery, netball, cooking, circus skills, dance, Arabic, Muay Thai and more. Sessions are led by both experienced members of staff and specialist external providers, ensuring girls benefit from high-quality teaching and expert guidance across a broad range of disciplines.
Many clubs take place after school, with some additional opportunities available before the school day begins. While some activities are included within school provision, others may incur an additional charge. Together, our clubs programme and wraparound care provide enriching experiences that support the development of confident, curious and well-rounded young learners.
